Auto Accidents

Our philosophy for handling automobile accidents demands that we fully investigate all circumstances surrounding the accident with the goal of understanding what happened and why the collision occurred.  We have a full time investigator on staff to assist with investigation as soon as we are retained.  We go to the accident scene, take still and video pictures of the road conditions, skid marks, gouge marks, document the timing of lights at intersections, take written and oral witness statements and seek out video surveillance from nearby businesses such as gas stations and banks.

Motorcycle Accidents

We believe that attorneys who represent those injured in motorcycle collisions should have experience riding.  Our lawyers have over twenty (20) years combined experience riding motorcycles ranging in size from dirt bikes up through shaft-driven water cooled 750cc and higher.  Personal experience has taught us that people in cars often fail to see motorcycles.  Also, witnesses in cars and even pedestrians will often overestimate the speed of a motorcycle based on the sound of the engine and exhaust note.

Tractor Trailer Accidents

Collisions involving tractor trailers differ from standard car wrecks for many reasons.  We practice with the philosophy that collisions involving tractor trailers and other commercial vehicles must be treated differently from the beginning.  The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is a set of national law which govern many aspects of the operation and maintenance of semi and big rig trucks.  Truckers must keep log books detailing when they stop, when they rest and when they drive.  Often different insurance companies will insure the tractor and the trailer.  Our lawyers have experience negotiating the many state and federal rules of interstate and intrastate trucking laws.

Slip and Fall Accidents

Injuries from slip and fall accidents, which are similar to trip and fall accidents, are often caused by carelessness on the part of the land owner or occupier.  Georgia law requires that land owners and occupiers keep their premises and approaches (walkways) in safe and in reasonable repair.  Slip and fall accidents often occur when the premises owner or occupier fails to maintain inspection procedures resulting in food or water remaining on the floor without warning signs.  Trip and fall injuries often occur because of improper code violations resulting in sudden or unmarked elevation changes.  Our attorneys have litigated premises liability slip and fall and trip and fall cases for twenty (20) years and have the experience to investigate and successfully recover for our clients.
